Space Age Museum celebrates the cultural history of our voyage into space.

Space exploration has always been driven by the cultural narrative of an enduring Space Age. From Buck Rogers to Star Wars, this narrative has been the cornerstone of science fiction art and film. In the mid 20th Century it influenced the entire spectrum of American culture, from toys, consumer products, fashion and advertising to automotive styling, interior design and architecture.

At the heart of this Space Age narrative is a mythic vision of humanity’s future. The mythic vision forecasts exploration of the galaxy and transition of the human race to a space-faring, multi-world civilization. This vision inspires, feeds the urge to explore and, above all, gives hope.
